Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi likes to lead a private life and keep is personal life away from the limelight. Over the years, he has focused on building a career for himself with versatile performances. On Thursday, he caused the internet to go through a meltdown when he reunited with his Murder co-star Mallika Sherawat more than 20 years later. It is to be noted that the actors had bad blood between them during the promotional activities of the 2004 movie. While their on-screen chemistry is to date unmatched with any other pairing, their off-screen feud became the talk of the town for months.
The actors were spotted at the wedding reception of filmmaker Anand Pandit’s daughter in Mumbai. They made their appearance on the red carpet and posed for the paparazzi. As proof that they have moved on from their past antiques, Emraan and Mallika greeted each other with smiles. They shared a tight hug, leaving their fans gushing. For the occasion, the Tiger 3 actor looked dapper in a black suit. On the other hand, the actress opted for a beautiful pink gown. They were glowing as they posed with each other for the paparazzi. It is safe to say that the video took to internet by storm, as netizens rushed to the comment section to express their giddiness. While many got nostalgic, others wondered if they would be collaborating on a movie, preferably Murder 4. For the unversed, it was during the promotions of Murder that trouble started brewing between them. During his appearance on Koffee With Karan, Emraan confirmed the same when he called the 47-year-old actress a “bad kisser.” Addressing their fallout, during an interview with Mandira Bedi on her show ‘The Love Laugh Live,’ Mallika dubbed her fight with Hashmi as childish. She had said, “We didn’t speak and now I think it was so childish. It was after the film I think during promotions or something we had a misunderstanding. It was so uncalled for and so childish on my part also.”
On the work front, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3. He essayed the role of the antagonist which was loved by the fans. He was also seen in the web series Showtime, starring Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Mahima Makwana, Shriya Saran, Vishal Vashishtha, Neeraj Madhav, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah.
